NFL 23-24 Week 15 Game Prediction- Bills upset Cowboys

We’re getting down to the business end of the NFL season and Week 15 is already here. One of the biggest games of the week is the Bills against the Cowboys and I’m sure a lot of people will be watching that game. The Cowboys are in the hunt for the #1 seed in the NFC while Buffalo is in a now or never situation in a tight race for the playoffs so this game from Highmark Stadium is going to be about who wants it more between these two extremely talented teams.

The Dallas Cowboys are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and they’ve been flat out dominant as of late. They’ve scored 33+ points in each of their last 5 games and they’ve outscored their opponents 201 to 85. Their biggest result was crushing Philly on SNF and they’ve taken 1st place in the NFC East. Dak Prescott is playing like an MVP quarterback at the right time for Dallas and he’s shredding defenses along with his fantastic receiver CeeDee Lamb. One thing that’s gotten better for them is their run game. The running backs aren’t getting big games but they’re getting touches which is so important so the Cowboys can slow the game down and take pressure off Prescott. One of the big reasons that Buffalo hasn’t won the Super Bowl is because the Bills are so over reliant on Josh Allen and they don’t use their RB’S a lot. Tony Pollard and Rico Dowdle can be a good duo and to win the Super Bowl, Dallas will need a all rounded team. On the defensive side of things, it’s a tricky game for the Cowboys terrific defense because they face a very strong quarterback who has a great arm and can grind it out on the ground. They did a great job with Hurts last week but Allen is more physical and runs more.  When Parsons and the guys up front bring pressure I think Dallas needs to have a player or two around the line of scrimmage like a spy so Allen has no running room. The gameplan for their defense should be to shut down Diggs and force Allen to throw to his other receivers. Allen is a great out of pocket QB and he has that ability to extend plays. The longer Dallas keeps him in the pocket, the better chance they have so Allen can’t get as creative. Dallas has a reasonable chance of winning the division but they don’t have any room for slip ups to give the advantage right back over to the Eagles.

The Bills were saved last week due to a Toney mishap but they still got a big win over Mahomes & Co. They’re in must win territory and they have to play a pretty much perfect last 4 games. They lost to both Cincinnati and Denver so the tiebreaker is not looking good for them and they haven’t been great in their conference (ESPN).The tiebreakers are used when teams have the same record so the first step is the head to head record and if they’re still tied they’ll look at division/conference win percentages (NFL.com). They still have a small chance of winning the division and one of the possibilities is that they can win all 4 games left and Miami has to lose 2 of their next 4 but if Miami wins 3 of their next 4, the Dolphins automatically win the division. In this final stretch, Josh Allen has to play immaculate games. He can’t afford any turnovers and everyone is on his back. If the Bills have any chance of winning this game, it has to be the defense stifling Dak’s offense. Dallas’ offense is flowing easily but Buffalo’s defense has to disrupt their rhythm. Lamb has to be limited and Sean McDermott has a tough task ahead of hin. They’re playing one of the best teams in the league on Sunday but if they can replicate the game last week vs KC, I think Buffalo has a good chance to win and keep their playoff hopes alive.

My prediction is that the Bills will win 31-30. I’m only picking the Bills because I believe they’ll have more hunger and desire to win the game than the Cowboys. Their season hangs in the balance and I think we’ll going to get a motivated and spirited Bills team on national television. I expect Josh Allen and Bills Mafia to rise to the occasion to stun the Dallas Cowboys. It’ll be an epic game but that loud Bills crowd will be the difference on Sunday afternoon from Buffalo. This game is streaming on FOX at 4:25 PM EST, 12/17/2023.

We’re in for a treat in Week 15 and it’s the battle between Stefon Diggs’ Buffalo Bills and CeeDee Lamb’s Dallas Cowboys. Will Josh Allen lead his team to 8-6 to keep their playoff hopes alive or will Dak Prescott continue his team’s marvelous form?

 THE END
