2021 NHL Playoffs Game 1 of the 1st Round- Minnesota Wild vs Vegas Golden Knights

Two of the hottest teams in the league play against each other. The Vegas Golden Knights vs the Minnesota Wild. Both teams have great players and it will surely be an exciting series. The 1st game kicks off on Sunday at 3:00 PM EST from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Mark Stone vs Kirill Kaprisov in the showdown between these two teams in the 1st Round.

The Wild have been really good and have made themselves seen. The rookie sensation Kaprizov was drafted in 2015 but never played until he made his debut this year and made a huge difference. He is a great shooter with great speed and can skate well. He speeds down the ice and wants to score goals and is a focused player. Joel Erikson Ek, Greenway, and Foligno line is also tremendous. Greenway can make space for himself to pass to a teammate. If the Wild beat Vegas which is tough I’m sure their odds to win the Stanley Cup will increase quite a lot. This team is quick and can make the opponent pay before they look up. Minnesota in my opinion is one of the top 5 teams in the league.

The Vegas Golden Knights, since coming into the NHL have been a playoff team. They made it to the conference final, Stanley Cup, and the 1st Round. This year they are hoping to become Champions. Marc-Andre Fleury has played like a champ and has played so well, Max Pacioretty has been fine but defenseman Shea Theodore has been playing really well. Jonathan Marchessault has been another one of their stars. He can give assists and can shoot the puck well. They should be aggressive but can’t take many penalties because the Wild will cash in. They have to make Minnesota stay defensive or else their high-flying forwards will get on the scoresheet. Their 1st step should be getting through this round successfully to boost their confidence in upcoming games.

I believe the Vegas Golden Knights will win this game 5-4 in Overtime. It will be super close but with the fans in the building, the Golden Knights will edge Kaprizov & Company in Game 1. But, I think the Wild are still going to win the series despite being one game down to start with. Being home definitely has an impact and Vegas will take advantage of that. This team moves the puck so swiftly and can get set up quickly. Both teams will fight strongly but the Golden Knights will come out on top.

The 3rd game of the playoffs is on a Sunday afternoon between two big shots in the NHL. Can the Minnesota Wild jump out to a win in the series with an away victory against the 2017-18 Stanley Cup runner-ups or will the Vegas Golden Knights show their true form and how dangerous they can be? We find out very soon from the very west in the United States.

THE END
