2021-22 Premier League Prediction- Tottenham vs Man United

The 7th and 8th place teams will try to get back in shape from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Man United got bulldozed by Liverpool on home turf last weekend which led to a lot of people asking questions about them. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under a lot of pressure and might get sacked if they don’t get the good results they need in the next few games. United looked disorganized and it just was a terrible day for them in front of the Stretford End and Sir Alex Ferguson. The Spurs lost a close one to West Ham on the road and didn’t really develop great chances. Both clubs are not doing great and each needs a big victory in this match.

Man United did not put up a good performance at home last week. Conceding 5 goals in front of this famous venue is a big deal and considering this team’s talent, it is almost unreal. Solskjaer needs to win with his job on the line and get this team back into the top 5. Unfortunately for United, Paul Pogba got himself a red card with a clumsy and unnecessary challenge and will be serving out one of his 3 match ban which he got. Varane might return for United which is good news for their team. In this game, United have to play like a team and have to be on the same page with each other. I hope Sancho starts for the Red Devils because even though he is not playing great, he has to adapt and once he does, he will be electrifying like he was at Borussia Dortmund. He is a great footballer and his career shouldn’t be spent on the bench. They have so much potential on their XI but haven’t been able to unlock it yet.

Harry Kane and Son are perhaps the best duo ever and are the leaders of this Tottenham team. Once they get going, it is hard to stop them. This team is the goal scoring type and they get most of their goals from the forward two. Lucas Moura and the midfield have to help the forwards and stretch out the United defense. Nuno Espírito Santo hasn’t been able to get the Spurs to their winning ways yet but a win over Manchester United could give them a surge of momentum moving forward.

I believe United will win this game by the score of 2-1. They know their manager’s job is on the line and they’re playing for him. They know what is at stake and what they are doing wrong. They have big expectations for this year to bring trophies but have not found their rhythm. They are struggling and a win in this hostile environment could fuel them for their upcoming derby battle against City. I think their skill will finally come into effect in this game and they will play with a lot of energy.

Harry Kane and Christiano Ronaldo face each other in a striker battle. Can United win in the loud Tottenham stadium and head into next week with confidence or will the Spurs sink Ole and United even further with a home victory? We will find out very soon from London.

THE END
