2022 NFC Divisional Round Predictions- Packers get through Niners, Rams startle Buccaneers

The pair of NFC games that are upcoming for the Divisional Round are surely going to be thrilling. The 49ers visit Lambeau Field on Saturday Night and Sunday’s 1st game is between the Rams and the Bucs. I’m excited for both games in this Divisional Round Weekend.

First up is the Niners visiting the well rested Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The 49ers fought through to silence the Dallas crowd and are definitely going to give Aaron Rodgers a challenge. The defense was great against Dak and is not going to make life easy for the Packers offense. They held up a pretty good Dallas offense and will hope to continue to do that against Green Bay. Nick Bosa is back, which is important for the 49ers. For the offense, I liked their running game with Deebo Samuel and Eli Mitchell. They stuck with it and got 37 carries for 168 yards along with 2 touchdowns. The Packers defensive front isn’t great so they can expose that part of the GB defense. Their run game can play a huge part in this game if they stick to it and get yards off it. This San Francisco team led by Kyle Shanahan came here to play and I don’t think they’ll leave Green Bay without a fight.

The Packers were perfect in the regular season and played with so much confidence. Aaron Rodgers had an MVP type season and dazzled us with some nice play. His main goal is probably to deliver and get this team to SoFi Stadium on February 13th. His receivers, Lazard and Adams both had an amazing season and he will look for them plenty in this game. I feel Lazard has really emerged and gotten Rodger’s trust. Instead of Adams just catching the ball, I feel they have a split role in this game. This offense is so well designed and they are going to give their fans some fun on Saturday Night. This game will be televised on FOX.

I feel the Packers are going to win 31-24. The Packers find a way to get the job done and their offense is out of this world right now. Even though the Niners defense is quite good, the Packers offense is better and I think they will find a way to get through. They have their pass rusher Za’Darius Smith back and he’ll get this defense up a notch.

The next game of the Divisional Round is the Rams visiting Tom Brady’s Bucs. The Rams played outstandingly against Arizona and gave them nothing. The defense was quick and pressured Kyler Murray. If Ryan Jensen and Tristan Wirfs are out for the game, the Rams defense will probably have a sack party. They overall played really well and I think they’ll be able to stop Tom Brady in this game. The offense I thought also played pretty well. Odell Beckham and Cooper Kupp were Stafford’s favorite targets and it will be important if they can share roles again. This Rams team led by Sean McVay is definitely capable of beating the Bucs.

I feel the Rams are going to win 34-30 in Tampa Bay. This team is getting healthy at the right time and I think they are playing better when it matters most. Can Akers is back and with Sony Michel, this run game could get some yards. Matthew Stafford is playing better and he is peaking when it matters most. I feel Los Angeles will come away with the win at Raymond James Stadium in Florida. This game will be televised on NBC and Peacock.

Jimmy Garoppolo, Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, and Tom Brady are all in action. Which of these experienced quarterbacks will lead their team to the NFC Championship? We will find out very soon from frigid Green Bay and a warm Tampa Bay.

 THE END
