The Wild Card weekend kicks off with this classic. The Buffalo Bills against the Indianapolis Colts. The Bills just came out of a 56-26 crazy win against the Miami Dolphins and stole the show in that game. Isiah McKenzie had a breakout game with 3 touchdowns, two receiving and a 84 yard punt return touchdown. Indianapolis clinched the playoffs with a 28-14 win against the Jaguars at home.
Their running back Jonathon Taylor broke out for 253 rushing yards and two touchdowns to add on to that. He was the main man in that game and totaled an insane amount of yards. I’m interested to see how the Bill’s offense responds to the fantastic Colt’s defense. Buffalo had an outstanding season, especially Josh Allen. He can do anything including running the ball, his passing accuracy has increased significantly since last season. He also got a new player named Stefon Diggs and Diggs has been his favorite target this year. This season is probably the best of his career because of the skills he improved during the break. The wide receivers have also helped Allen immensely in his success. They have different useful skills like Diggs is the deep ball man, Cole Beasley is having a spectacular year and is the person on 3rd downs and short plays. Those are the two main receivers for them but Diggs is number one. A huge pro for the Bills would be if Beasley can get fine from his injury in time for the Wild Card game. It would be really great for them if they get him back because that Colt’s defensive front is very strong and Allen will have to get the ball out quick. These things really matter for the Bills if they want to move on to the divisional round of the playoffs.
On the other side, the Colts could easily win this game if Philip Rivers can get going. That lead they blew against the Steelers was because of accuracy. Rivers can’t afford to lose turnovers because the Bills will cash in if he does. They also should take some long balls in this one because Zach Pascal and T.Y Hilton are known for that and it is their specialty. The offense will have to be the one doing things because the Bills will probably curve past the Colt’s defense and score. They might not hold up so Philip Rivers will have to guide his team to victory. It will be a close game in Buffalo.
I think the Bills will win this Wild Card game by a score of 34-31. They don’t give up very easily and are a hard fighting team all the way till the end. Allen is going to fight his way through and take the win. Also right now the Bills are playing unstoppable football with a six game winning streak. As good as the Indianapolis defense is I don’t think it is enough to stop Josh Allen who is on a roll. Meanwhile, the Colts need to get Rivers going and the run. Jonathon Taylor has been explosive and he is an important factor for their team. Rivers needs to throw on the mark throws and can’t afford to make a lot of mistakes in this crucial game. This is a team with plenty of potential and will most likely find a solution.
Two teams who are on road to success meet in Buffalo to start the Wild Card weekend. No mistakes should be made or the opponent will cash in. Will the Buffalo Bills who are playing splendidly win at home against the rock-solid Indianapolis defense or will Philip Rivers and the Colts pull of an upset to advance to the divisional rounds? It will be a tight one.
