NFL NFC Divisional Round Match Prediction- Los Angeles Rams vs Green Bay Packers

The Rams come to play against the Packers at Lambeau Field in this epic NFC Divisional round match. The first game of the Divisional round weekend starts with this beauty. The Rams just came out of an eye-catching win against the Seattle Seahawks. Their defense has been playing better football than the offense. They had a few injuries but it looks like Aaron Donald will play and either Jared Goff or John Wolford. The Packers on the other hand clinched the top seed in the NFC conference. They have been playing red hot and the Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams combination is quite explosive. The best offense currently in the NFC faces against the best defense in the NFC.

The Rams defense plays a very challenging Packers offense. They have two consecutive touchdowns in the previous two games along with a handful of sacks and good plays. Jalen Ramsey will most likely cover Davante Adams so that should be a good battle between those two and that defensive front is scary to play against. Aaron Donald leads the way and they also have some other great defensive ends. The Rams offense also had some cheers in the win against Seattle. They had a great run game against the Seahawks with Cam Akers having 176 total yards. Both of the Ram’s quarterbacks are returning from injury so it would be ideal for the run to get going so the QB won’t have to do much. Some games the run did exceptionally well but in others they played horridly and this one has to be a good one for Akers. Like I said in my previous Rams article, I want Cooper Kupp to have a better role because right now it is pretty much Robert Woods. Be creative with him because he is a great wide receiver and the Rams should put his talents into use. The Rams play a very good team and I expect a good overall performance from them in order to advance to the Conference Championship and not get eliminated.

The Packers are playing all they’ve got football right now. I can sense they are really playing Super Bowl winning right now. They stomped Derrick Henry and the Titans in Week 16, crushed the Bears in Week 17 and right now no body can stop them. Not even the outstanding Los Angeles defense. Aaron Rodgers is having such a good year and is probably going to win MVP. But do you know who is having an even better year?, Davante Adams. He is a huge red zone target and has 18 touchdown catches this season. He has short touchdown catches, long ones, and of all sort. Another player that is a big target for Rodgers is their tight end Robert Tonyan. He has been thrown to in the red zone plenty and has 11 touchdown grabs this year. He is truly having his best year of his career. The passing game has been terrific and so has the run. Aaron Jones is fast and is one of the best running backs in the league. He is going to have to find a weakness in the Rams defense which is immune to their opponents running the football. It is a game the Packers should not take lightly and underestimate the Rams because the Seahawks did and it cost them. They need to work hard and keep their chances to Super Bowl road alive as Aaron Rodger’s career is coming to an end.

I believe that the Green Bay Packers will win this NFC Divisional Round game 31-23. They are the second ranked offense in the league only behind Kansas City and you can see why. They have a quarterback who has thrown only 5 interceptions this year and rarely makes mistakes. They have a legendary skilled wide receiver and a strong running back. The Packers are playing the best football in the NFC right now, maybe the whole NFL. The Rams defense is having a dream run right now but the Packers will transform it into a dark, frightful, awful nightmare. But they won’t go home without a fight. It should be cracker of a game as the Divisional Round Weekend kicks off with this one.

The Rams visit the cold Wisconsin as the underdogs. The Packers are cruising on a 6 game winning streak and are looking to make it 7. Can the Los Angeles Rams surprise the world once again or will the Green Bay Packers get one step closer to the Super Bowl with a win on Saturday? We will find out on a Saturday afternoon in Green Bay, Wisconsin!!!

THE END
