I am speechless, the Bills have stunned me right in front of my eyes. They came into the playoffs the 2nd seed in the conference and just kept on winning. The Bills fans have been waiting for this forever and Josh Allen has provided that. His passing is so much better and all his skills have jumped a big step this season. Sean McDermott, the Bills head coach has all the pieces of the puzzle and his team is complete (well except for the run game ) and has shown things that Bills fans want to see. The offense is stacked from Minneapolis Miracle man wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the athletic and playmaker quarterback Josh Allen. Both of them are having a huge year and are a deadly duo combo like Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. The defense also is great with players Pro-Bowler cornerback Tre’Davious White and safety Jordan Poyer. Both sides of the ball are explosive like how Taron Johnson got a 101 yard interception touchdown to secure the win in the Divisional Round game against the Baltimore Ravens and to the designed run for Allen but their was no space to run so he just lofted the ball to his tight end for the 3 yard touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card. I am looking for a great passing game because the run won’t do anything because the running backs got a total of 9 touches on the ground (not passing) and barely did anything. This team is playing so well and now come upon a team who is good offensively and defensively. One mistake against this team is very costly.
The Chiefs have great news coming into this game. Reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes was cleared of the concussion protocol after taking a hard hit to the helmet in the game against the Browns. He will be active and playing in this ballgame. It will be great to have him play and now the odds of the Bills winning are even lower with his return. The Chiefs are becoming as dangerous as the Patriots have been in the past. They are a match away from two straight Super Bowl games and are playing better than ever. The win against the Bills in Week 6 this season was all run. Clyde Edwards-Helaire had more than 160 rushing yards and had a great game. He is questionable with a hip injury and let’s see if he will be active for the Bills game. For the Chiefs, I am looking for a very strong run game similar to the last time they played Buffalo. They are not that type of team but hopefully the run will provide more than 100 yards. The Bills are a very different type of team from back then and could do some magic and surprise Kansas City at home. Arguably the best team in the NFL this season and they made the Conference Final again.
I think the Kansas City Chiefs will win this AFC Conference Championship by the score of 27-20. I think they are the best team in the league and are going to the Super Bowl one more time. They beat the Ravens, Bills, Saints, Buccaneers, all great teams in the NFL. Josh Allen has plenty of skills and tricks up his sleeve but it will be tough for him to beat this team. The Chiefs are aggressive and are a very hard team to get past. The Bills have an average of 22 points per playoff game and I believe they will score somewhere around there. Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes one more time this season.
It’s Blue vs Red from the home of the Chiefs. Can Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills come to Kansas City with fairy dust and upset the Chiefs or will Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs prevail over the Bills again and go to Tampa Bay for Super Bowl LV? It will be a great game as this is the second to last NFL game of the season.
