Tottenham visits London Stadium in London to play against West Ham in Week 25 of the Premier League on a very early Sunday morning to start the day. The Spurs recently lost 3-0 vs Manchester City while the Hammers got a 3-0 win at home vs Sheffield United to put them in 5th place in the table. West Ham have 3 wins in their last 5 matches and have been playing amazingly. On the other hand, Tottenham started the season strongly but now are not playing that well as they have 4 losses in their last 5 matches and are in 9th place. The last time these two met, it was a heck of a game. Tottenham were up 3-0 in the first 16 minutes of the game but West Ham found their gear to score 3 goals to tie it in the last 12 minutes.
Tottenham have not been playing their best recently but when they can play well their football is spectacular. Their fabulous strikers Son and Harry Kane create those goals and are some of the best players in this league. Both have 13 goals but Kane has 11 assists and Son has 6 assists. They both work so well together and that is a big part of what makes Tottenham dangerous. This team is made up of speed, long balls, and quick strikes. In this game, I want the defense to play better and not sit back deep. Tottenham needs to get back on track and a tie is not enough in this stage, they need a win. This team is amazing and I want them to show that in this match.
I never imagined West Ham this high on the table. They’ve done everything right and really deserve to be in the top 5. They got Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard on loan and he has been playing marvelous. At United, he didn’t get much playing time and was usually on the bench but now he is a regular starter at West Ham and is shining. They needed someone like him and they have got a magnificent player. Another piece of good news for them is that striker Michail Antonio is looking fit for this game after missing a few due to an injury and it will make things easier for them but much harder for Jose Mourinho’s side. I am looking for good defending because Tottenham have strikers who don’t make mistakes very often. I also want them to test the Spurs goalie Hugo Lloris consistently. I am quite impressed with this team overall and I believe they will put on a good show on their home field.
I think David Moyes’s West Ham will beat Tottenham 2-1 in this home game for them. They are working really hard against each team and each individual player is playing superb. Tottenham are not playing that well right now and are going to lose another game. With Antonio almost back, they can dominate in their attacking half and will continue to press the Spurs defenders until they crack. Lloris has not been playing his best currently so that will give West Ham another advantage. For the Spurs single goal, I think either Kane or Son will score it because they are the anchors of this team. From my perspective, they are in the top 5 best duos in the world. It should be a nail biting game from the home of West Ham.
Can the Hammers pull off another win to put them in 4th place or will Jose Mourinho’s squad find a little bit of magic to finally get his team winning? We will find out soon enough on a crucial Premier League game.
