English Premier League Week 28 Match Prediction- Manchester United vs West Ham

The 2nd to last game of this Premier League Weekend is Manchester United vs West Ham from the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford on a Sunday afternoon. Both teams won 2-0 last week and are looking good. United got a big injury boost for this game as Marcus Rashford has been fit to play and is in the squad for this match. Jesse Lingard plays against his former team for the first time and will be looking to lead West Ham to get an essential win for the Hammers.

West Ham played well vs Leeds last weekend with a 2-0 home victory but could’ve gotten more. This team’s attack is marvelous and can counter-attack very well too. Antonio, Lingard, Fornals, and Rice will be the difference makers for them and will lead this team forward. My advice for West Ham is not being scrappy and leaving the ball in areas where United can do counter-attacks.They don’t need to rush and need to be patient to find a hole in the Red Devil’s defense. West Ham usually play this formation which is the 4-2-3-1 one so the 2 defensive midfielders should be dropping back as well moving forward. David Moyes should be very proud of his team and how far they’ve come this year. Nobody saw this team coming in the top 5, truly remarkable.

Manchester United are different from last year. They can score goals now and are transforming into the ruthless team they used to be back in the old days with Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo, and other legends. Bruno Fernandes is the cause behind this newly found confidence. He is good at everything really, from scoring penalties to creating counter attacks to curling a beautiful free-kick into the back of the net. This man can do it all and that is why United are back in business and are thriving. Another piece of good news for this team is Rashford is deemed fit to play which is a plus for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He is a fast and skilled player which makes a big difference in the way this team plays. They have Daniel James and many other players who can run like a cheetah so quick attacks should be something they should do a lot of. United can go back into 2nd place with a win here and keep their Champions League spot because it doesn’t look like they are going to win the league.

I think United will win against 5th place West Ham by the score of 3-2. They have the hunger to score and have a lot of confidence after the outstanding 2-0 win against Man City. The defense and defensive midfielders Fred and McTominay have been playing great and haven’t allowed a goal in the last 3 Premier League games. Again, I believe Fernandes will be the spark for this team this afternoon and will be the cause of their goals. Shaw will be on Fornals most of the time and Bissaka will be on Benrahma so that should be a fun matchup to watch.

Can Manchester United win against another team in the top 5 and go back into 2nd one point ahead of Leicester or will West Ham win and tie Chelsea on points? We will find out on Sunday from Manchester.

THE END
