We are all set for the North London Derby from Emirates Stadium between Arsenal and Tottenham. Two teams who are neighbors and developed a big rivalry when the Gunners moved close to Tottenham’s old stadium. Most recently, Arsenal tied to Burnley in what should have been a win but wasn’t. The Spurs on the other hand just came out of a great win against Crystal Palace when both Gareth Bale and Harry Kane scored a brace. This game should be an enjoyable watch.
Tottenham are finally getting in their groove again, especially their player who is on loan from Real Madrid Gareth Bale. His first couple games when he returned to his former club he wasn’t like himself and did not play the best he possibly could but now he is showing improvement. He is getting assists, scoring goals, and is making the Spurs win again as they are on a 3 game winning streak. The duo of Kane and Son is now a trio with Bale added into this super group of players. It will be good for the whole team if Bale gets to start because his form right now is really amazing and he deserves to play. What I want from the Spurs this afternoon is midfielder attack. They already have a good front 3 but they need support. Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, and all those midfielders should be going forward to help Harry Kane & company. With consistent effort this team has the ability of being in top 4.
Arsenal have been very inconsistent. They have tied and lost a few games and haven’t been able to have a winning streak. They need to start winning continuously if they are serious about getting a Europa League spot. There is not much time left. Arsenal, like Tottenham, have three lovely strikers. Pepe, Lacazette, and Aubameyang who can all score when needed to. I want all of them to make the start along with Willian, Ødegaard, and Thomas. They can’t put their key players on the bench and let Jose Mourinho’s team finish the game early on, instead they have to come out to attack and keep possession so those forward three for the Spurs can’t break away. They have to up their defense because Kane can make a goal from anywhere on the field. Arsenal have to beat their big time rivals to really push for the top 5 of the Premier League.
I believe Tottenham will win in the North London Derby by the score of 3-1. I have mentioned how their top 3 players can wear out the other defense and it is a struggle to play against them. They give the fuel and momentum to this team every game. I think at least 2 of their strikers will score and give assists also. They will lead their team to an extremely important win against Arteta and Arsenal who have quite frankly not played that well in the last few games.
Can Tottenham’s stars steal the show and win for Tottenham or will Aubameyang lead Arsenal to a much needed win? We will find out very soon from London.
