There have been some absolutely epic transfers in the Premier League and one other regarding Lionel Messi. The Premier league was already so competitive but now it has gone to the extreme with these new signings for the big clubs. But, there are still 3 more days for teams to receive and give away players as the deadline is 6:00 PM EST on August 30th.
The most recent transfer, and the best in my opinion, is Christiano Ronaldo coming back to Manchester United as they signed him from Juventus for 24 Million dollars per year. City were going to get him but couldn’t afford him so United went ahead and got their former superstar back. It will be fun to see him play with Fernandes, Sancho, and Pogba this year and will score a lot of goals.
Two more United signings were Englishman Jadon Sancho coming over for Germany and the Frenchman Raphael Varane coming for the La Liga. Sancho is so talented and will be an extremely important winger for them. Varane meanwhile, will make that defense solid and his pairing with Harry Maguire will be golden for the team. United are going all in and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to win his 1st trophy for Man United as the manager. These three Man United signings are going to probably put them as favorites for winning the Premier League this year.
United’s rivals Man City also had a big signing this summer. Jack Grealish came over for a British transfer record fee and till now has been playing amazing. He can play midfield and the wings which gives Pep Guardiola a lot of choices. Till now though, City have missed out on two players that they were looking to sign. First, Harry Kane who said himself he will stay at Tottenham this summer and Second was Ronaldo who was of course signed by United. They really need a Central striker and are running out of options.
Another big 6 club in the EPL signed a superstar by the name of Romelu Lukaku. I loved this signing for the Blues and really think it will benefit them. Lukaku has high expectations and is a goalscorer machine. It is going to be hard to stop him and will be pretty much unstoppable. He is super skilled and comes back to the Premier League this time playing for Chelsea. He is going to score a lot of goals this year and will be epic.
The last one I want to talk about is not about a PL signing but about Barcelona and PSG. Lionel Messi got signed by Paris Saint Germain for a 2 year deal. This is a place where csn win trophies and find success. He will be playing against his rival Neymar and they will be a great pair. Mbappe is also going to make him better so that trio will be spectacular.
This soccer season in Europe will be amazing and all these new players on new clubs will be huge for winning titles. Which players will shine and which willones will be a disappointment?
