2021-22 NFL Week 14 Prediction- Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Football Team

In a big NFC East Showdown, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys visit Taylor Heinicke and the Washington Football Team at FedEx Field. The WFT surprisingly have the longest win streak in the NFC currently. In this span, they have beaten Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, and Derek Carr. They face another big test against Dak Prescott’s team.

The Cowboys haven’t looked particularly good in the last 3 games and that is why they are 1-2 in the last three. They started the season amazing but have just sat down a little bit. Mike McCarthy might be without his 1st and 2nd string running backs for this game as Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot are battling injuries. They are both game-time decisions and are questionable. This is a major blow to the Cowboy’s run game which has had a pretty good year. Dak might not have his top two running backs so will have to be on the dot with his passes. He’s missed some easy throws as of late and is going to have to be better. The Cowboys lost both games against Washington last season but the last time Prescott played at FedEx Field, he won 31-21.

The Washington Football Team’s playoff hopes are getting stronger as they sit in 2nd in the NFC East. As of right now, they are tied for the 2nd Wild Card spot with the 49ers. They’ve beat teams better than they are and want to extend their winning streak to 3 games against Dallas. Their defense, which is without two of their stars, held Las Vegas to 15 points in the whole game. As for Taylor Heinicke, he is feeling it. He replaced Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 1st game of the season and has been Ron Rivera’s guy ever since. He has been patient in the pocket and has great awareness of where his receivers are. This guy has proved many people wrong and will really test the will of the Dallas defense.

I think the Washington Football Team will win this game 27-24. They are playing with so much confidence and will win this game. One matchup that you should certainly keep an eye on is Trevon Diggs against Terry McLaurin. Diggs is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL while McLaurin could make a case for being one of the best receivers. This is an elite matchup and is going to be a key one in this big rival battle.

Another important player in this game is linebacker Micah Parsons of the Cowboys. This rookie has 10 sacks this season and has made it hard on quarterbacks. He’s going to pressure the offensive line of Washington and is going to make it tough on Heinicke.

Round one of two in this epic rivalry renews on Sunday at 1:00 PM EST from Maryland. Can the Dallas Cowboys get back to winning ways and shut Washington’s streak or will the WFT upset the NFC East leaders and extend their streak to five? We will find out very soon on Sunday afternoon in Week 14 of the NFL.
