After a long international break and a bunch of postponed games, we are back in the Premier league. This weekend is a perfect way to get back in the action as the North London Derby in store and so to the Manchester Derby. It looks like the Spurs are finding their way and it seems like Son is in form again. Arsenal look spectacular and it says something that they’re in first place. Haaland is scoring goals at record pace while De Bruyne is tagging assists like the Flash. On the other hand, Man United are perking and it seems like Marcus Rashford is back to being himself. United are on a 4 game winning streak and they look solid.
I think Tottenham will win this North London Derby by the score of 3-2. Tottenham are playing better and also Arsenal’s defense looked a bit leaky in the last few games. I trust the Spurs defense better than Arsenal’s and I think Antonio conte will be able to pull out the win at the Emirates. Both teams have a really good offenses who can score goals. But I think the key in this game will be which defense can execute the game plan better. Will Arteta and the Gunners stay atop of the league or will Tottenham spoil the day? We’ll find out on Saturday at 7:30 AM on USA Network.
I think Manchester City will win 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Even though United have been playing better recently, City have more quality and dangerous players. Even though Lisandro Martinez is terrific on the ground, he is an easy target in the air. His short height will be capitalized by Erling Haaland and City will target him with air balls. The Cityzens penetrate the defense so well and will be a handful for Erik Ten Hag’s defense. Who will win the 188th edition of this famous and competitive rivalry? We’ll see on Sunday at 9:00 AM on Peacock.
4 spectacular teams. 2 fierce rivalries. 2 winners. What will happen in match week 9 of the Premier League?
