A top four race in the Premier League to welcome us back from the international break. Manchester United make their return and face an extremely well built Newcastle team run under Eddie Howe. A win for the Magpies will take them into the top four and even third place possibly while a win for the Red Devils would put them in a safe space for now. A colossal clash at the top of the table and we should be in for a gripping match at St. James’ Park.
The last two league matches for Ten Hag’s team were not great but this is a good chance to bounce back for them. When they played Newcastle at the tail end for February in the Cup Final, they gave up a lot of chances. United don’t play like Liverpool in City by controlling possession but I want to see them pushing Newcastle around. A counter attack game may suit Newcastle better and they could trouble United with their speed. I also want to see more of the midfield getting forward and linking up the play in the middle of the park. Casemiro is suspended which is a big loss but I still think they can win without him. This is a huge test for Manchester United and a win could be a big statement by them.
Newcastle have two straight wins on the bounce and can take a big step with a strong performance on Sunday. In the last meeting against the Red Devils, Newcastle gave up too many chances. They were too open at the back and it was unlike them. Newcastle have to go for it but can’t put everyone forward. A draw would not be a bad result for the Magpies but a win would be awesome. I want to see their wide players take on Manchester’s wing backs and really have a go at them. Isak, their wonderful centre-forward, can run and I’m sure he’ll make a lot of runs and trouble United’s back line. The rest of the team has to supply Isak and give him chances to score. It will be a hard match for Newcastle but in front of their fans, I believe they can do anything.
Newcastle United will win this game 2-1 over Man United. The Magpies are fresh of a break and their stadium will give the extra jump to the home side. They lost to United a little while back and are surely more determined to get back at them. This team has shown they are capable of beating the top sides and I think they will add another win to their resume. I really like how they build up and the passing is just so slick. United will have their hands full this Sunday afternoon in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. This game is available to watch on Telemundo and USA Network.
Manchester United have a chance to extend the gap between 3rd and 5th but Newcastle can draw level on points with the Red Devils with a win. Will Marcus Rashford shoot his team past Eddie Howe’s team or will Newcastle United stun Erik Ten Hag’s team. We’ll find out soon in what should be a fiery clash between two of England’s best teams.
